Omnibond Attends The HPC Event Of The Year
Exhibited in both the Clemson University and Omnibond booths, and sponsored two events—the OrangeFS BOF and the Beowulf Bash!
The Omnibond Team would like to thank its customers for stopping by to see us in this year's International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis SC11 (Nov 12-18).
We enjoyed the excitement that is being generated by OrangeFS, including its new Windows connectivity and the upcoming Version 2.9 release.
Omnibond also sponsored the popular Beowulf Bash and the OrangeFS BOF, which was titled OrangeFS/PVFS: Developments, Direction and Discussion.
Introduction of the ‘O-Man’ was a hit!
Our introduction of
-Man
also made quite a splash at the conference. We first handed out these Lego®
minifigures (sporting the Omnibond logo on their chests) during the OrangeFS BOF. From that point
on, popular demand for the little guys surpassed any previous promotions we have ever sponsored.
On To Next Year!
SC12 will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah. We've already begun the planning process and have actually received our exhibit floor assignment (Booth #4426) in anticipation of new product milestones for the coming year. See you again, next November!

- Increased testing
- Cross-server redundancy
- Diverse Client Access Methods: Posix, MPI, Linux VFS, FUSE, Windows, WebDAV, S3 and REST
And now paid, commercial-grade services are available for OrangeFS.
